Project String Power’s mission is to provide all residents of East Texas the affordable opportunity to learn to play a stringed instrument; to develop the skills required to play professionally; to prepare students to play as part of an orchestra, rock band or country band and to prepare students to pursue music as a career if they so choose.
This project is funded in part by the Marshall Regional Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, and Texas Commission on the Arts.
